To check your version: press [MENU], touch SYSTEM, turn the E1 knob to INFO. To update: format a USB Memory drive on the FANTOM-7 EX, download the system program from roland.com, unzip and copy the update file to the USB Memory root, insert the USB Memory into the FANTOM-7 EX, and follow the on-screen update procedure. Do not power off during the update.
