NEW FEATURES Per Track and Bypass Trails Access the new Trails config in Menu > Trails 3 per-track options, saved per preset: Off: no trails (default behavior prior to 1.2) Only Trails: dry signal is cut on inactive steps. Good for parallel effects and repeat patterns Trails & Dry: effect tails keep decaying on inactive steps, dry signal passes through on active ones. Toggle Bypass Trails On/Off globally Sequencer Parameter Retention Sequencer steps no longer reset effect parameters when changing effects Turn this behavior On/Off in Menu > Clean Seq on FX Off by default Main Output Control Master output level is now controllable via the macro knob, CC#92, or an expression pedal Tempo Display Tap the Tempo encoder on the main screen to show the current BPM

How to update the Polyend Mess

Download and extract the firmware, then copy the .pmf file to the Firmware folder on the Mess SD card. Save your current preset and back up the SD card first. On the Mess main screen open Settings > Firmware > Update Firmware, select the .pmf file and press the encoder to start. After the update, open a new preset to initialize the config settings.
