How to update the Mutable Instruments Tides (original)

Download the firmware .wav file from the Tides firmware page. Unplug all CV inputs and outputs from the module and connect the output of your audio interface or sound card to the FM input. Power on your modular system with the mode switch pressed: the 3 LEDs blink yellow. Disconnect your speakers (the signal is loud and harsh) and mute any other computer sounds; on non-studio outputs you may need to turn the volume to maximum. Play the file: the LEDs show a cyclic pattern and flash green each time a valid block is received, and the module reboots after the last packet. If all 3 LEDs light red, the level was wrong: adjust the output level, press the mode button and play the file again from the start.
