How to update the Mutable Instruments Streams

1. Download the firmware WAV file (streams_1.01.wav) from the firmware page. 2. Connect the output of your audio interface to channel 1's EXCITE input. Disconnect your speakers/monitors and mute any other computer sounds: the update audio is loud and harsh. 3. Power on your modular system while holding channel 1's function selection button. The four LEDs on the left side of the bargraph blink orange. 4. Set channel 1's SHAPE knob to its middle position (it sets the input gain; best with 2 green LEDs and 1 orange LED lit on the right side of the bargraph). 5. Play the WAV file into the module. The LEDs show a cyclic pattern and flash on each valid block of data. At the end of the file the module restarts by itself. 6. If the LEDs blink red, the signal level was wrong: adjust the level or the SHAPE knob, press channel 1's function selection button and retry.
