How to update the Mutable Instruments Frames

1. Download the firmware WAV file (frames_1.2.wav) from the firmware page. 2. Unplug all CV inputs and outputs from the module. Connect the output of your audio interface to the FRAME modulation input and set the MODULATION attenuverter to its maximum. Disconnect your speakers/monitors and mute any other computer sounds: the update audio is loud and harsh. 3. Power on your modular system while holding the ADD button. The 4 LEDs blink and the central knob lights orange. 4. Play the WAV file into the module. The LEDs show a cyclic pattern and flash on each valid block of data, and the central knob lights green. The module reboots after the last packet. 5. If all 4 LEDs blink and the central knob lights red, the signal level was wrong: adjust the output level, press ADD and play the file again from the start.
