What's new in 2.11

This "zipped" download contains the most current Version Operating System update for the monotribe. Version 2.1 allows monotribe to be played using KingKORG, or any analog device that has a CV/Gate output jack. A full description of the update is included in this download, along with instructions on how to install the OS.

Add it to your rig to keep an inventory, track its used market price and get an alert if a new firmware ships.

How to update the Korg Monotribe

Download the monotribe System Updater from Korg and unzip it. Power the monotribe with the AC adapter or fresh batteries and connect the audio output of a computer or audio player to its SYNC IN jack (not AUDIO IN) with a stereo mini-jack cable; never play the update file through speakers or headphones. Turn the monotribe on while holding FLUX, HH and STEP 1 (the SYNTH, BD and SN LEDs light up), then play the update audio file from the beginning with the volume turned up and no other sounds playing. The STEP LEDs show the progress; when only the PLAY LED stays lit, turn the monotribe off. If the FLUX, REC and PLAY LEDs blink, the update failed: start again.
