Download the uploader tool for your OS (Mac or Windows) from the Doepfer firmware page. Power off the module and connect it to your computer via USB. Power the module back on while holding the Shift2 button (bottom right) to enter upload mode. Run the uploader program — it will automatically detect the module and install the firmware in a few seconds. Check the module display to confirm the new firmware version.
