Download the firmware ZIP from conductivelabs.com/download/mrcc-firmware-update/, extract the .hex file. Install Teensy Loader from pjrc.com/teensy/. Connect the MRCC's USB-B (PC) port to your computer. Open the .hex file in Teensy Loader, click the green Auto button, then press the recessed FW button on the right end cap with a pen or paperclip. Programming takes ~3 seconds; MRCC restarts automatically. After updating to v1.1.095 or later, clear old MRCC USB device names from your DAW and OS.

Version 1.1.095 (September 10, 2025)
- Routes per patch increased from 50 to 255; route counter added to Activity screen (turns red at max)
- MIDI Control Port setting now saves correctly for ports P07–P12 (previously reverted to "-" on power cycle)
- Enhancements to MIDI buffering and SysEx message handling
- Multiple MRCCs now recognized as unique devices by Windows when each has a unique name (set on Settings page 4/4)
- USB MIDI Virtual port names (Port 01, Port 02, etc.) now appear as child devices of the MRCC device
- "PC Name" setting reworked to prevent race condition causing original name to reappear
- NOTE: This release changes the format of the MRCC USB Device name — old names must be cleared from OS (DAW, macOS Audio MIDI settings)
