What's new in 1.05

[Additional Function] The SYSTEM-8 was added to the products that use be used via the USB HOST connector. [Bug Fix] The following bug was fixed. When restoring parameters, Scene information was not restored correctly.

Add it to your rig to keep an inventory, track its used market price and get an alert if a new firmware ships.

How to update the Roland MX-1

Download the MX-1 System Program from the Roland updates page and extract the zip on your computer. Hold down [TAP] and switch the MX-1 on, then connect it to the computer by USB: an "MX-1" drive appears. Copy MX-1_UPD.BIN from the extracted folder to the root of the MX-1 drive (do not copy the folder and do not rename the file). Eject the drive and disconnect the USB cable, then press [TAP] to start the update: pads 1-16 flash in sequence and "Fin" appears on the display when it is done. Turn the MX-1 off. To check the installed version, hold down [GAIN] while switching on: the version is shown as a 3-digit number (105 = 1.05). Never switch off the unit during the update.
