V1M_V1.26 / V1X_V1.26 on 10-15: -1. Version number after the USB device name removed. -2. Fader parameters now set to a minimum value of 60. -3. Purple color of the fourth layer characters on the touch screen is more prominent. -4. Accuracy of ProTools DAW encoder parameter updated and refined.

How to update the Icon Pro Audio V1-X

Download Smart Install (iMAP/Firmware) for Mac or Windows from the V1-X product page and install iMap. Update one device at a time: turn off and unplug the V1-M and any other extenders, and connect only the V1-X directly to the computer by USB-C (no hub). In iMap, check that the device list names the V1-X, start the firmware update and keep the unit connected and powered until it finishes. On a Mac, keep iMap in a folder whose path has no spaces, such as Applications. If an update fails, follow Icon's recovery guide for V-Series controllers in the Icon support center.
