Focusrite Scarlett 4i4

Firmware is delivered and applied automatically by Focusrite Control 2. Connect the Scarlett 4i4 to a Mac or Windows computer via USB, open Focusrite Control 2, and accept the firmware update prompt if shown. No separate firmware download is required. To check manually: click the ellipsis menu in Focusrite Control 2 and select Check for updates.
