The V2 firmware upgrade is a physical hardware modification requiring replacement of two PLCC-32 flash memory chips on the main PCB — not a software download. Adds a new reverb algorithm, expanded presets, MIDI SysEx, and mute/bypass. No firmware updates beyond V2 (2010) are publicly documented.
