Akai MPK261

Download the zip for your OS (Mac or PC) from the Akai support page. The zip contains an .upd file and a MIDI Updater application. Install the MIDI Updater, launch it, then drag and drop the .upd file into the application window. Connect the MPK261 directly via USB (avoid hubs), keep the cable under 15 feet, and disconnect other USB/MIDI devices during update. A SysEx emergency method (.syx file) is also included in the zip.
