Akai MPC 1000

Download the OS .zip file from the Akai Pro legacy downloads page and extract the MPC1000.BIN file. Insert a Compact Flash card and power on the MPC 1000. In Load mode, press the USB key (F4) and connect a USB cable — the CF card mounts as a drive. Copy the .BIN file to the CF card, then disconnect USB. Power off, ensure the CF card is inserted, then power on while holding the WINDOW button and immediately pressing REC. The unit processes the update and reboots automatically. Do not power off during the update.
