Akai Force

Three update methods: (1) PC/Mac updater app — download from akaipro.com/force-firmware-downloads, connect Force via USB, launch app and select 'Update Force'; (2) USB drive — copy the .img file to the root of a FAT32/exFAT USB drive, connect to Force, select 'USB Drive Update' in Preferences; (3) Online update — requires firmware v3.1 or later, connect to WiFi or Ethernet, go to Preferences > Info > Online Update. Always connect Force directly to a USB port (no hubs). Back up data before updating.
